The company adds significant operating and product leadership with supply chain expertise to meet increasing demand for its Diamond Unclonable Security Tag (DUST) solutions

BOSTON, MA / ACCESSWIRE / December 14, 2022 / DUST Identity, Inc., a leading authentication solution for physical objects, today announced the addition of two new executives to its leadership team. Roger Brown and Rod Schultz join as Chief Operating Officer and SVP, Product, respectively. Additionally, Ron Zoran joins as a member of the Board of Directors, and Arthur Stark has been brought in as a strategic advisor.

Using engineered diamond particles embedded in high-performance polymers, DUST gives physical “things” - products, parts, and packaging - an unclonable fingerprint to offer full tracking, indisputable authentication, tamper-free validation, and data transparency throughout the object’s entire lifecycle. With deep expertise across supply chain, technology, retail, and cybersecurity, the company’s strategic hires are well-positioned to propel DUST’s cutting-edge solution to markets facing today’s supply chain integrity and resiliency woes.

"Over the last few years, we've been focused on hardening our products and capabilities mainly in the context of defense applications. Now, we're taking our experience in closing trust gaps in complex value streams to other ecosystems," says Ophir Gaathon, co-founder and CEO of DUST. "Delivering trust in global supply chains is hard. Building resilient solutions to tackle those use cases requires exceptional teams and individuals with deep experience in a range of disciplines. Roger, Rod, Ron, and Arthur have been building teams, products, and businesses for decades across a spectrum of industries. I'm excited to join forces, accelerate our growth, and better support our expanding footprint in the aerospace and microelectronics markets."

Roger Brown - Chief Operating Officer Brown joined DUST after 20 years at T-Mobile, where, as a member of the marketing leadership team, he led multiple large-scale functions, including customer management, device portfolio, supply chain, and device products. Most recently, in 2020, during the height of the pandemic, Schultz joined Zoom as Head of Product Security and Privacy. He set the vision and roadmap for security and privacy for products, infrastructure, marketplace applications, and data protection to meet the company’s growing demands as it became the connectivity fabric of society during the Covid-19 pandemic.
